Otago Polyfest

Celebrate the rich diversity of Māori and Pacific cultures at the 32nd Otago Polyfest, an eagerly anticipated annual festival showcasing kapa haka, Pasifika performances, and cultural expression from early childhood, primary, and secondary school groups across the Otago region. Since its beginnings as a small showcase in local schools, Polyfest has blossomed into a vibrant five‑day cultural highlight, with 175 groups participating in 2025 — including 48 early childhood, 99 primary school, and 30 secondary school ensembles.
